Andy Rouse helps gorilla conservation - limited edition print donates 100% of profits to vital projects

Generations_by_Andy_RouseAward winning professional wildlife photographer and conservationist Andy Rouse has committed to helping save gorillas. A veteran of countless gorilla treks, Rouse has teamed up with the YoG to raise much needed funds for gorilla conservation projects. The first fundraising project is the publication of a beautiful limited edition print called Generations (see image).

100% of the profits (~ £24 per print) will be donated to YoG gorilla conservation projects administered by the UN (via a UK charity). The edition size is 500 only, each print costs £49 GBP plus delivery (£5 UK and £15 other), measures approximately A3 in size and is printed on Giclee PhotoRag paper.

If sold out, the edition will raise approximately £12,000 to help the plight of the gorilla. In Rouse’s words “The Gorilla holds a special place in my heart and for many years I have been taking tourists to see these amazing great apes. To be amoungst them and witness their daily lives is a real privilege and one that I want future generations to share.”

The print is available for order online from www.printsforprimates.co.uk

At the end of July 2009, Andy Rouse had already donated 1,100 pounds sterling through his prints! The money goes to a YoG-supported Wildlife Law Enforcement project in the Republic of Congo. To view his August Newsletter, click here (Pdf).
